Miguel Lopez, a beloved 26-year-old son, brother, and friend from South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Geisinger Danville Hospital.
Miguel’s sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He was born on November 11, 1999, in Houston, Texas. His parents are Kimberly (Houseknecht) Printzenhoff and Rudy Lopez. He is survived by a loving brother, Enrique Lopez, and his three cherished sisters: Selena (Michael) Lopez, Jessica (Logan) Lopez, and Jazmin Lopez, also his beloved Niece who he loved whole heartily Adalia (Addie) Lopez. He also held a special place in his heart for Cindy (Meme) Rine, who called him Joe.
Miguel grew up with a bright spirit and an adventurous soul. He attended high school and graduated from JobCorps. He carried out such enthusiasm throughout his childhood and into adulthood, where he built a life filled with passion and purpose.
Miguel found joy in his work as a dedicated delivery driver for FedEx, always approaching each day with reliability and a warm smile. Beyond his job, he poured his heart into the things that truly lit him up: casting a line into peaceful waters while fishing, creating and sharing content as a digital creator, fearlessly serving as a firefighter with the Duboistown Volunteer Fire Department—where his courage and commitment to helping others shined the brightest—and diving deep into coding and the intricate world of rebuilding electronics. These weren’t just hobbies; they were expressions of his curious, creative, and giving nature.
Miguel’s greatest treasure was his family. To his siblings, he was more than a brother—he was a source of laughter, support, unwavering loyalty, and endless love. His presence brought light to every gathering, and his memory will continue to wrap them in warmth during the hardest days ahead.
Though his time with us was far too short, Miguel lived with a fullness that touched everyone around him. He approached life with kindness, enthusiasm, and a quiet strength that inspired those fortunate enough to know him. His passions reflected a man who found beauty in creation, service, and connection—qualities that will live on in the stories shared and the lives he quietly improved.
